Freemake Video Converter and Freemake Video Downloader - system hijack . !!

    Been chasing a problem for a while. Message on startup, "Product updater has stopped working". Not a system or OS problem. Chased it down to the Freemake Video Converter and the Freemake Video Downloader. My AV program (Panda Cloud Antivirus) tags both as having a trojan. Installed both with AV off. Yep, error message on re-boot. Uninstalled both Freemake programs, no further problems. Full AV scan and Malwarebytes scan, all clean. Both Freemake programs download and install .Netframework 4 Client Profile as well. Leave .Netframework or delete it, up to the individual user.

    In all, WARNING about Freemake products. The trojan gets into the OS.
