Yesterday AVG detected two infected files that were said to be both trojan, after supposedly getting rid of the them, I uninstalled AVG and installed Avast to insure that the viruses were gone. However, this morning I discovered that SQL Server Configuration Manager had been pinned to my start list which I am sure I personally would never do, so I was just wondering whether this is something that I should be worried about, as in, is the trojan still around and is someone establishing some sort of connection between my computer and theirs?

    Thanks,

Don't use AVG but have found that the Malwarebytes anti-malware product does an extremely good job of detecting malware and removing it -- and it's a free download.
