When the laptop was upgraded it had a CompuUSA PCMCIA 10/100 32 bit adapter that did not work after the upgrade. I went to circuit city and they suggested a linksys 10/100 PCM200 V2 that I could then go to the linksys website and download an updated driver that would work with Vista. So after I got it home went to the website it had "not available" for this specific model. So I am still in need of one that will work and preferably one I could pick up at a local electronics store rather than having to order it.

    Also I see some cards that say 32 bit and 64 bit do I have to use a 64bit card since the OS is running 64?
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

    64bit wouldnt hurt I suppose. I'm not really familiar with different cards you can get. You should take that card back and demand a refund. Oh and dont ever get linksys. EVER.

    64 vs 32 is referring to the pci bus speed. If your motherboard supports x64 pci bus then you can buy the x64 card, but if it doesn't its a waste of money. In reality Fast ethernet cards and other common pci cards such as sound do not even take full advantage f x32 bus, only possibly gigabit Ethernet cards or SCSI controllers. But for wireless x64 is not needed.
