Currently I am unable to drag and drop files in Windows explorer. When I attempt to drag and drop anything, it does everything like it should but the file does not move. It does not have any error messages or make any sounds. Does anyone have suggestions about how to solve this problem?

Where are you dragging and dropping to, and from?

If you're trying to drop anything into a folder inside Program Files, that is likely to fail -- but it should be telling you that.

Try creating a couple of folders on your drive, not under your Users folder, and not under Program Files, and see what happens then.

If I create a folder on my desktop and try to drag pictures into it, for example, it will not work. I am not trying to drag and drop anything inside Program Files. If I put a flash drive into my computer I cannot drag any files onto that either. Does that help?
