For the dutch people: PCM, a computermagazine, has a cd with Office 2007 on it.

    From MS:
2007 Office System Beta 2 compatibility
If you are using 2007 Office system Beta 2 be sure to download the 2007 Microsoft Office system Beta 2 Technical Refresh, the most recent update. (The Technical Refresh is required to use Office Beta 2 with Windows Vista RC1.)

    Then from the office website:
Using Windows Vista RC1 and Office Beta
A technical refresh of the 2007 Office system Beta 2 is needed for those interested in using it with Windows Vista Release Candidate 1 (RC1). If you want to run the two products together, we recommend coming back at a future time to get the technical refresh.
OK, but my orignal download of Office 2007 appears to work on RC1 regardless, or there is something not working which I am missing :hehe:

I stick with office 2003. I'm used to the interface wich is much easier to use. I want it all on my screen not under tabs so I have to search to it.

Forgot to mention that the Techinal Refresh is now live: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...1cf-4bc3-821a-0bb10e7a59fa&DisplayLang=en

And I find that Office 2007 is far better than previous versions, I have used office since office '97 and are used to the interface, however Office 07 allows me to do things faster, I love the real time previews of formatting, and the interface is easier to see, so after reformmating my comp, I dont have to try and recall which tabs i had on the page and where i put them, and then still fart round trying to see where that damn paint bucket icon now is :D.

After a few documents I got used to 07' and know which tabs i need to go on to access certain things. It's about time MS innovated Office in this way.

Anyway in my oppinion Office 07 > Office 03

And does everyone think that Office '03 is the same as Office '97 just with a blue paint job?

Runs for about 60 days. Works flawless with Rc1 build 5600 and up.It's not free basicaly. It just shows you what it does. You can't cheat the timing however. I've tried setting back the date and it just tells you to change the clock. Also the version you buy in shops is probably better like the case with Vista .The RCs were buggy but RTm works great.
