Hot off the lab is another gadget for the Windows Sidebar included in Windows Vista February CTP. This time, it’s a dictionary and a thesaurus, for when your looking for that important word you forgot before your bosses meeting.

Quickly and easily find the right words for whatever occasion. Dictionary and Thesaurus services provided by Merriam-Webster.

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Unpackage the folder inside to your desktop.
    2. You should see “Dictionary.gadget” on your desktop.
    3. Navigate to %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets using Windows Explorer
    4. Drag and drop the Dictionary.gadget folder to the Gadgets folder you just opened.
    5. Start the sidebar
    6. Press the + button on the bottom of the sidebar.
    7. Double click on “Dictionary”.

    Enjoy!
