Can I delete the previous backup so I will have room to do a new backup or will I need to order disk to fix the problem. Thanks in advance on telling me how to fix this.

Computer is working fine except for the backup on the d: drive.

    Thanks Ray

    hi ,

take a look at this thread

despite the solutions in those links i advise you to contact microsoft support , click that link in my signature and follow , go down and get a chat with the microsoft support staff , they have more tools and qualify to help you

check also ' problem reports and solutions ' there should be at least one other error number with this one (!)

log in as admin and do a diskcheck , flag both options and see what happens after that , if still no go , contact microsoft support
