copy of Vista is not genuine? it is...

    I have, over the last 3 years, had to reinstall my laptop from scratch several times using both the recovery discs I made and also from the D: partition (recovery) with no fuss at all.
    But after the last reinstallation fron recovery Vista is now bugging me for a validation thing, and flashing a msg on the bottom right of the screen after booting up. I'm not sure how to fix this as when I click the validate now it says the key is not genuine. To say I'm a little confused is an understatement.
    I'm Running a HP G70120-ea
    with Vista home premium 32bit

    Any help or guidance is appreciated.

    While Microsoft will tell you that a copy of Vista can be reactivated an unlimited number of times, what they won't tell you is that, after several times, you have to contact them to get that to happen.
