    Hi.

I have a strange problem with Vista. Once in a few hours my browser (Firefox and IE) acts like there would be no internet connection. In the same time other programs like MSN or P2P programs work fine. Restarting my card (Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 PCI Gigabit Ethernet)doesnt help. Restarting my PC is the only cure. What could be the reason for this?

I also have another PC connected to the internet using this computer and it does have the connection all the time even when i cant browse anything on this PC.

In the card's settings, can you change Media Type to Autosense, apparently this makes a difference (its third hand information so not sure of the location.

You might also want to turn off the option in the power management tab in Device Settings that lets the computer turn it off to save power.

Sorry can't offer anything more concrete.
