    Hi Everybody,

I have a Dell Vista PC and am trying to connect it to an LCD Samsung TV. Using a VGA Cable.

Thing is I cannot seem to configure the two to communicate.

I have tried to change the resolution in Display Settings and the Nvidia control panel, but no secondary display is recognized.

I am very close to tears so could someone please help me out - thanks.

You could try to do a few things for starters: go ahead and change the resolution on your Dell to something lower, maybe 800×600, sometimes that causes the problem. You can also change the color scheme to 24-bit if it’s set to 32-bit and see if that works.

I'm guessing your using like a secondary port. Trying selecting extend my desktop to the this monitor.

Or use a HDMI Cable ? If your PC has an HDMI output.
