Back in february i begin to notice that my pc would freeze up randomly whenever i was using internet explorer,so i hit ctrl alt delete and nothing happend all i got was a black screen with the message "Failure - Security Options -- Logon process has failed to create the security options dialogue'' since then i have tried everything to fix this problem. I havetried dissabling Windows defender andturning off superfetch and Readyboost but the problem still persist.

It seems to only happen when ever im on the web, first the browser will crash then my whole system will freeze. I dont know what could be causing it, i havent downloaded and new software or made any changes to my system.

Please help me figure this problem out.

My PC is a dell XPS 420 running Windows Vista Home premium
