Class Not Registered error

    I have a user that gets a generic "Class Not Registered" Dialog box every time they click on the screensaver icon located in personalizations. This behavior doesn't change even if i change the screen saver he's using.

    I tried tracking this down with process monitor, but had no luck. I believe the answer is there, but i can't seem to find it.

    Does anyone have any tips on how to start troubleshooting this error?

    So far, I have swapped shells. ie. moved his hard drive from one notebook to another of the same model. I have logged in with different users; all with admin privileges. The error persists in each case.

    ran sfc /scannow and found no problems.

    I'm guessing i'll have to register a dll, but don't know which one.
