I changed startup in Msconfig to Select startup, but didn't check any of the options below. Now Vista won't launch. At one point I got it to go in safe mode, by pressing a combination of keys at power up, I believe one was the win key, but didn't note what they were. I neglected to correct the Msconfig and powered down. Now at power up it loops and restarts.
I can get to the boot options with f8, selecting safe mode with command prompt, and it loads Windows , but doesn't give me a command prompt, just hangs. With the prompt I should be able to run "start Msconfig.exe", correct?
Does anybody know the key or combination of keys to hit at power up to launch Windows? it Did work once but I wasn't paying attention.
    Many Many thanks in advance.
