Hello, and thankyou for your help / assistance in advance.

I have a hp G70 120ea laptop, and it is normally working fine. All updates done and clear of bugs/viruses.

Just have one issue, I purchased some CD-RW discs recently (TDK CD-RW700) I inserted into the disc drive and the popup popped up and I chose to burn some mp3's to the discs. (I did 3 overall, to listen to in the car) The discs burnt fine and play well in the car and at home on the cd player. BUT... when I went to overwrite the cd's and change the data on the disc I can't as when I put the disc into the drive, the laptop doesn't seem to think a disc is inserted and no pop-up pops up saying would you like to overwrite disc, listen to disc etc...

I open computer and the windows explorer crashes, All I want to do is overwrite the data, after all they are meant to be re-writeable discs.

Laptop uses Vista premium, 3gb ram..

    160gb hd

    Thanks for looking

    Steve
