    I have a Toshiba Equium A210 - 171 with a ATI RADEON X1200 Graphics Card.
I have an s-video out as well as a VGA out for external monitors.
I bought an s-video cable, but all I get is black and white when connecting to my old style CRT(?) television.
I know that the graphics card is able to handle colour output to televisions of this style, as it works on my sister's LCD TV, but not on mine, I am just evidently using the wrong kind of cable.
I have seen various cables available to buy online, such as a converter from VGA to S-video as well as from VGA to RCA but I don't know if using one of these will make any difference.
