can i install my old xp drive and access files off it in vista?

    i built a new machine for vista and removed my old mobo and drives etc form my case to use that for my new vista system..i intend to buy a new case and reassble my old xp system..my question is is there anyway to install the xp drive in my vista case and access the files on it?..i dont want to boot into xp just pull files off it?

    Set the drive to cable select and connect it to the spareIDE cable connector in your machine. Boot your machine and you should be able to access the drive. Any problems let me know. ;)

    thanks..worked like a charm...all my old xp files (music, photos etc) fully accessible...
