    Here is a list of the Windows Vista Builds, up until current:



    3683 - [Alpha #1]

    4008 - First Acknowledged Leaked build - March 1st, 2003 [Alpha #2]

    4051 - Developer Build, For those who want to use the SDK.

    4067 - Shown to Developers at WinHEC 2004

    4069 - Shown to Developers at WinHEC 2004

    4074 - Last Real XP like build

    4083 - x64 Build only leaked.

    5048 - WinHEC 2005 Build

    5112 - Vista Beta #1 [First REAL Vista build]

    5219 - PDC 2005 Attendee Build [CTP #1]

    5231 - October CTP [CTP #2]

    5259 - TAP members/November CTP [CTP #3]

    5270 - December CTP [CTP #4]

    5308 - February Enterprise CTP/ Feature Complete [CTP #5]

    5342 - March CTP [CTP #6] - minor updates to Feb CTP

    5365 - New build which is much faster then previous and built for perfomance

    5382 - May Leak, Only minor visual effects added in MS Mail and new backgrounds.

    5384 - Beta 2. Most drastic improvements in perfomance and GUI. A couple months from Release Canidates.

    5456 - Interim build, testers only.

    5472 - July Interim, Mislabelled, Much faster than Beta 2, still some major problems

    5536 - Pre-RC1 build, not totally optimized, major bug problems.

    5552 - Major bug fix added, but no other improvements.

    5600 - RC1, improved in speed and bugs, some major bugs still remain in IE7 and standby

    5717 - First build towards RTM in October.

    Thanks. I thought it'd help users who've aquired a build figure out how far back, or how close to current, that they're at with it.
