BSOD during Service Pack 1 Installation

    The laptop was on step 3 of 3 during the installation of service pack, when all of a sudden BSOD appeared. I can't boot it up, keeps going into system recovery. If I try to boot to safe mode, it still goes into system recovery. I don't have any restore points, pc backup recovery, and system repair can't repair it. I don't know what to do......

    I suspect you may be a victim of the "endless reboot" problem associated with Vista SP1 installations.

    If that doesn't fix it, you've tried everything else, your only recourse may be to extract the data from your machine and reinstall Vista.
