Blue screen & Noise on Skype & YouTube

    Hi,

    I have an Acer TravelMate 5513WLMi operating on Windows Vista Business Service Pack 2, 32-bit.

    On Wednesday when I shut down my laptop it installed some updates. On Friday when I was playing a youtube video I got the blue screen and an insistent, high-pitched dddddddd noise. Then today I was video skyping and it did the same thing and did a memory dump (attached).

    I had this problem regularly some time ago when doing things like this and using iplayer, but then it just stopped and I don't know why. I'd really like to make it stop this time and not put up with it. It's annoying and always freaks me out that my laptop is really going to die! Please could somebody help me?

    I am a complete novice by the way - I found out how to find the memory dump by reading another thread!
