After installation of unknown update (I have it set as automatic so I'm not sure what was that) in my notebook I restart it

(it can be that I also catched a virus or something but since it happend around time when automatic updates done I assume it it the problem).

Right now I can only access my note book in command mode

So fas it looks like I have two options: format the disk or go back to fabric settings, and since I have a lot of data I don't want to do that. Restoring to any of the earlier points doesn't work

Is there a way to restore the data?

What I can do? Please help me to solve this problem.

and sorry for my English, it is not my native language.

    Thank you,
