I had to change out my power supply, and I noticed two empty memory card slots,
not sure why two are black and two are blue? [IMG]

But since I have three of these identical computers, can I pull two from another and add them?
    What would it get me?
Are the slot colors an issue?

Go ahead and try, it's not likely to ruin your machine quickly.

Most likely thing is the colors indicate pairs of RAM chips. I.e., if you've 2 4-GB DRAMs, you should put them in the two black slots or the two blue slots, not one in each color.

A suggestion -- Google your motherboard name and "memory slot" and see what pops up.
