accesing admin password from stndard acc?

    Hi hope someone can help? running vista basic 32 bit can only log on to secondary account with standard priveledges as bought second hand! is there any way to access the admin password without having to reinstall?? ive tried the usual things and even a few cmd prompts to which i get sysytem error 5 access denied?

    If you Google for Trinity Rescue Disk, you will find an image file that you can download and burn to a CD. It allows you to blank your passwords. Do that instead of setting them to something else.



    Then, when you login to Vista again, you can reset your passwords to what you want.
