listen to a song and it says it cannot play file so i went to the web page it
said to go to and it said i experienced a "C00D11B1" error and i followed the
steps to try and fix the problem, i tried updating the file, and i tried
running a dianogstics to see if anything was wrong with ym device but
everything works fine, like i said it was working fine one day and now its
suddenly not working

any idea as to wahts wrong or how i can fix it?

What was the URL of the page that the Web Help took you to?

Hm:
Error Number: 3222091444 (0xC00D36B4)
Symbolic Name: MF_E_INVALIDMEDIATYPE
Text description: The data specified for the media type is invalid,
inconsistent, or not supported by this object.

What's the extent of this error? What *is* working, and what is failing?
Are local audio files broken? Do MP3, WAV, MPEG, or WMA files work?

What changed previous to this happening... ?
What are the results of WMP's Help:About:Technical Support Information menu
tool?

all of my media is failing =[
and none of my media is bad, cause it all seems to work in real player but i
don't really like real player

i don't think anything changed prior to things starting to not work, at
least not to my knowledge
and the tech support info said to check my device and make sure its working
fine, which it is

i was thinking of trying to re-install WMP maybe tis jsut a corupted file in
WMP but i cna't it says that because i have a new version it won't re-install
it
