Hi all!

Just a quick question,

When I do a startup repair, what will I lose?

Since Repair only operates on the system files, you shouldn't lose anything.

What did you hear about Windows Mail?

Startup Repair has no effect on Windows Mail.

That just led me to think (hope) that something would be rolled back to
a young prestine untouched state and not the dirty full of s..t one i am
wrestling with now.

No. Startup Repair only refreshes the files that Windows uses to boot =
up.

All documents, pictures and programs you have installed, atleast I did. I
made backups of my photos and documents, but installed programs so now when
I insert a SDdisk it will not download my pics have to use USB port...

back to normal and I learnt heaps in that week of panic
