Vista Recovery CD

The link below used to point to a site (NeoSmart) that has downloads available for burning both 32-bit and 64-bit Vista Recovery CDs. If you bought a machine preloaded with Vista, you probably did NOT get any Vista media; so, you will need the proper CD in order to boot into the repair environment in order to fix Vista.



Update: Some of you have been around long enough to hear the phrase "no good deed goes unpunished", well, that's exactly what happened to Neosmart. The HTTP download they had offered was discovered by sites in China and linked all over the country. It was abused and there was well over 2-3TB worth of data downloaded from their servers in just a months time.



As a result, they have taken down the link and will not be offering it again.



Since we don't want our server taken down, either, this CD is no longer available through our site.

You can still download the image

I just tried the links today and they are (still) to torrents -- not direct links to the ISO images. I checked their forums again today, and they have again indicated that they will NOT be hosting direct image download links.
