I have looked at a number of discussion groups (inc. Microsoft
Vista.Print_Fax_Scan) and cannot find a similar problem so I hope
someone can help. I just got a new computer with Vista 64 OS. I have
an old HP 722C printer attached with USB upgrade. The MS Vista
Compatibility site says it should be compatible and HP site says to
use the MS driver loaded automatically when the USB is plugged in.
But, using the Test Print Page from the Properties menu of the
printer, the printer acts as if it is going to print by feeding the
page to where it will normally print then stopping there (or
hanging?). The printer was put back on an XP system and worked fine
with the same USB attachment so it does not seem to be the printer.
Any ideas? Every has led to a dead end so far. Any MS or HP printng
experts. For information, it is a Dell desktop running the Vista 64
OS.
Thanks,
