Upgrade from Vista Home 32bit(OEM) to Vista Ultimate 64bit(Retail)?

I just ordered the Vista Ultimate 32/64bit (retail upgrade version)

can I upgrade from Vista Home 32bit(OEM) to Vista Ultimate
32bit(Retail)?

from my understanding,64bit'll be clean install that I already know...

Hi Abiosis,


Yes. The retail disk will allow an upgrade from a qualifying product
(XP/2000) or other version provided there is no change in language.

i have currently rum vista business with a free upgrade to windows 7 in
error i ordered 64 bit upgrade while laptop runs 32 bit can i still
install the upgrade
any help appreciated.

Do you have Vista Ultimate 64 bit upgrade or Windows 7 64 bit upgrade?
Is you computer a 64 bit computer?

The 64bit installation DVD can only be used to install and run the 64 bit
version on a 64 bit computer.
