Umax Astra2100u & Vista 64 Home Premium

I HAVE A 2004 UMAX ASTRA 2100U USB SCANNER THAT I WANT TO USE WITH MY
NEW SYSTEM.

I HAVE A HP PAVILION A6826f PC WITH WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM 64 BIT
OS.

I CANT FIND ANY DRIVERS FOR THIS SCANNER.

ON THIS FORUM A POST STATED TO USE AN ADAPTEC SCSI ADAPTER AND GET THE
VUE??? SOFTWARE.

i DON'T UNDERSTAND SCSI ADAPTER. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN OR TELL ME
EXACTLY WHAT I NEED TO GET THIS RUNNING OR DO I NEED A NEW SCANNER.

There is no software from Umaz that will work with Vista 64 bit. In fact
there's no software that will work with Vista 32 bit!

If I were you, I'd look at getting a new scanner that works with 64 bit
systems. Canon or Epson support both Vista 64 bit and Windows 7 64 bit.
