After this, uninstall BOTH printers.
The latest drivers for the 2575 can be found at:

and for the 1020 at:

After that, ensure your PDF software is up to date - you don't state which
application you were using for opening/reading PDFs. The spooler failing is
almost always due to corrupted printer drivers.
