I’m just posting for anyone else who may have trouble getting their Minolta Magicolor 2300w working. This was my second attempt and it worked.
I inserted the original printer Install CD ran it as usual as if I was installing on XP rather than Vista.
When prompted I chose Install and went through that process. Vista prompted me that the program may have not installed correctly asking if I want to install Vista's "Recommended" alternative way or Select "Program Installed Correctly", I selected the Recommended Vista alternative. And through a series of Windows 3.1 looking dialog boxes I ended up pointing to Have Disk then the XP Driver Folder of the CD, clicked the XP driver then ok and printed a test page and all is good. Like magic.
