I am pleased to announce that I have created a very basic and very simple gadget for the Windows Sidebar which officially debuted in the February CTP of Windows Vista!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Unpackage the folder inside to your desktop.
2. You should see “Google Search.gadget” on your desktop.
3. Navigate to %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets using Windows Explorer
4. Drag and drop the Google Search.gadget folder to the Gadgets folder you just opened.
5. Start the sidebar
6. Press the + button on the bottom of the sidebar.
7. Double click on “Google Search”.

Enjoy!
