Hi. I have windows mail. I just got it 2 weeks ago. When I copy and paste,
then forward the email, it shows up to receivers of the email in Chinese or
Japenese, I don't know which. Not sure if it happens when I just forward an
email. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix that? Thanks.

This is a very rare bug. I've seen only 4 reports like yours over the
past nine months. I don't know of a fix, but you might try the following:
Tools, Options, Send, uncheck the option "Reply to messages
using the format in which they were sent."

Thanks Gary, will try that. One other thing though. Sometimes I'll copy and
paste something from a trusted webpage, and those are the ones that do it. I
KNOW the webpage is safe.If I copy and paste and send it to myself, it's
okay. If I then forward it on, it does it in the recipents email. Do you
think it's the same thing, a bug? I have antivirus program that scans emails,
ingoing and outgoing...wouldn't that catch that?

By "bug", we geeks mean an obscure error in the program's code.
It is some sort of character encoding problem. Nothing that
your antivirus program can do anything with.

Make sure your default encoding is Western European of UTF-8.
