I'm told that discs burned using XP can't always be viewed with Vista. I have
a data disc containing mostly jpegs with a few gifs and scans that worked
with XP but is read as a blank disc in Vista.

Is there a patch or fix available? Is there a workaround?

Thanks

OK, got no replies but i found a solution and am posting in case anybody
searches this problem. Go to CNET and d/l program Iso Buster- it's free!
Install and open, put cd in drive and in left pane right click iso file.
Select export and choose your destination and go. Voila!
