Is the laptop running the 64 bit version of Vista?
If you have 32bit Vista, make sure the driver name is the same as the XP
drivers or you cannot create an RPC connection. HP intentionally renamed
about 100 drivers so you can't create a normal connection using the old
drivers that will not work on Vista.
Most of these types of issue are solve by creating a Local printer that
copies the rendered data to the shared printer over the server service.
Local printer, create a Local Port in the format \\XPmachine\printshare
(make the sharename one word to simplify this), select the Vista driver
