I'm changing to Charter cable modem and need to send email to all of my
address book.

I've looked and looked to select all but can't get it done.

Thanks in advance

The following steps work in OE...maybe
it will work in Windows Mail...

Open your Address Book and select all the names...
Edit / Select All
(If you cannot choose select all....try typing...Ctrl+A)

Now...go to...Tools / Action / Send Mail...
(this should produce an e-mail message with
all addresses included in the "To" field.

With which email program? In Windows Mail, start a new message,
then click on Tools, then Select Recipients, then click on the first name
you want to send to, then To:, Cc:, or Bcc:, then keep adding the other
names, then click on OK after the last name is added.

Open the Contacts folder>highlight the first contact>on the Edit menu
'select all'.
You then need to right click on any of the selected contacts>action>send
email.

(FYI John, the Action command does not appear on the Tools menu as it did in
OE)

Right-click on the error message, copy, then paste it into a
reply here.

Ask your internet server (perhaps the new one you are changing to) for
their instructions for setting up under Windows Mail - or if they haven't
written any yet, use their instructions for setting up under Outlook
Express,
but do it under Windows Mail instead.
