Dell 1150 XP to E1705 Vista questions

We recently set up my husband's E1705 (with Vista), instead of my older and
slower (painfully slow at times) 1150 (with XP). I installed the 'drivers
and utilities' software from CD onto the 1705. After many attempts with no
printing, I now see that neither the printer nor our digital camera are on
the 'compatible' list for Vista. Is there anything that we can do so that we
don't have to use my computer exclusively when we want to print or upload
digital pics?

Thanks!

Rather than use the manufacturer's CD(s) which are probably very old, look
at the device manufacturer's websites for the most up to date driver
packages. For a digital camera, the quickest and easiest way it to use a
card reader. It saves attaching the camera to the PC itself, the card will
be seen as a 'removable drive' and can be accessed just like you access your
hard drives and optical drives through Windows Explorer.

Dell A940 AIO personal printer drivers for Vista 32 are available.

Watch long URL wrap and go here
http://support.dell.com/support/down...&catid=&impid=
and change the Operating System to vista32.

or the tiny url is: http://tinyurl.com/2kvuc5

Now, as for the camera. What type of media is the images stored on (SD,
Memory Stick, Flash card, etc.)? If you can't interface the camera
directly, purchase an add-on USB card reader (Google for the type of card
reader needed) and put your memory card in that reader after you purchase
and install it.

Hope this helps, let us know.
