craigslist answering email

when I see something I want to email for it, I get an error message about not
accepting html, msn, hotmail......I don't know how to fix it. Thanks,

When you click on a link on a website like Craigslist, it is a mailto:
link, and it should open your default email program.

If you prefer using Hotmail webmail, maybe the following link may help....

Or, to send/retrieve your Live/Hotmail with Windows Mail, you have
to access the POP3 server (mail is downloaded to your computer).

since WM is coded to reject Hotmail addresses, you'll have to use a fake
email address while setting it up, then change it to your correct address
later.

With the newer Windows Live Mail, you can access the Hotmail/Live account
via DeltaSync (mail is kept on the server).
