'pop.tools.sky.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR not supported
c18pf495858hub', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error
Number: 0x800CCC18. I can send but cant receive emails. AND a task has
failed. It was ok until Sky switched over to google.

Go to Tools, Accounts, select the sky.com account, Properties, Servers,
uncheck the box "Log on using Secure Password Authentication."

Could anyone help me please - I'm having the same kind of problem with
vista! I've looked on so many websites and forums now - I've tried
everything that's been put on! My error message is:
Account: 'pop.tools.sky.com', Server: 'pop.tools.sky.com', Protocol:
POP3, Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] Username and password not
accepted.', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90,
Error Number: 0x800CCC92

Please can someone help me so I can receive and send emails using
Windows mail?!?!?

Thanks

Which antivirus are you running?
One thing you can try is to delete the account, restart Windows Mail,
then recreate that account. Sometimes accounts get corrupted for no
apparent reason.

Are you also getting a send error? If so, include a copy of it.
