can't receive emails

I can't receive any emails but I can send emails. I uninstalled the the
McAfee Anti-Virus and installed AVG Anti-Virus, but I still can't get my
emails.. What can I do??? Any help would be appreciated..

Receive emails stored by what internet provider? If you get any
error messages when trying, showing the full error message will
get you a faster answer.

Click on Tools, then Accounts, then your email account, then
Properties. If there's no check mark in the box before Include this
account when receiving mail or synchronizing, click on the box
and then on Apply. Click on OK.

I just wonder when someone at Microsoft is going to clean up this mess Vista

i cant get any emails either! i uninstalled mcafee and my other securities
but still nothing
i really wish someone would do something about vista i hate it so much. it
doesnt even work with my iPhone.
please help someone!

Any error message? What happens when you send an email to yourself?
