What is the best way to send a command remotely?

Hello,

I (will shortly) have two Vista machines visible to each other via LAN. I have custom software launched via a command in a cmd.exe window with a series of arguments. I would like to launch copies of this software close to simultaneously on two machines (one of them is acting as master, the other basically as a slave). What is the best way to launch the cmd.exe app remotely and pass a number of arguments?

Perhaps another way to phrase this is, "What is the best equivalent option to rexec on Vista?"
