2530 hands down, IMO. Looks like a great laptop for the price and for what you get. It's not too big at 15.4" and it's still got some power(Core 2, new ATI mobility, 2gb ram, etc). That would be my choice out of those 4.

The 1538 looks nice if you want to run vista X64, just throw another stick of 1GB in there and it should run Vista great. Of course if you have the money go for the the 2350.

I'm kind of hesitating between the third and the last one
the last one has bluetooth and has a bigger screen
Is there a big difference between the cpu and gpu from the 2530 and the 1526?

The gpu in the 17" is going to be a little more powerful, but it's also a little older. I haven't seen any reviews yet for the new ATI mobility cards, so I can't really compare the two very well. But the ATI card is their lower end card for their new series, while the Nvidia card is a mid level card from their older series.

As far as the cpu's, IMO the C2D is going to be alot more powerful than the Turion X2. My wife has one in her laptop and it's not very impressive. The Core 2 Duo mobile cpu's are extremely powerful, especially the T7000+.

You also have to figure out if you want a 17" or a 15.4" as that will make a big difference if you're carrying it around much. The 17's tend to be a bit of weight if you're carrying it to work all the time(or around campus if you're in school). I think the 15.4" is a great compromise between size and portability. Though I'd love to see them(the industry as a whole) put a more powerful graphics card in a 15.4" notebook.
