What driver is this, an ATI driver by chance ? and what graphics card do you have, this is not a Vista issue it's a driver issue, this particular one is usually associated with ATI's attempts at writing drivers with particular cards, Sapphire for example have special difficulty with ATI and it happens in XP just the same.

Perhaps a system spec post would help us identify the exact problem for you.

I have Vista Ultimate with SP1 on an Athlon 4800 CPU with an nVidia 7950GT video card. Dungeon Seige LOA is my daughters favorite game and it was working fine in WinXPSP2 compatibility mode, however, after a recent MS Update (not sure which one, but in the last 2 months), I am now getting the error that goes back to "Please insert the CD" even with the game launched from the CD. I am trying various efforts to get this to work and keep having the same problem. I can find nothing on MS or Gas powered games as to a fix. HELP!
