Is their any program that you can download which can simulate Vista Glass. My computer meets all the requirements for the really thing, but my Laptops SIS 760GX graphics card is only Pixel Shader 1.5 and 64mb.

Any programs which can simulate it?

Thanks

Sorry about late reply. Anyhow i dont think there is a way to completly copy the look. Might want to check online as i have seen a program that allows for the 3D application switching interface. But thats as far as i can help.

Windows blinds from stardock should be able to do it. It costs though and i'm not sure whether the vista version is out yet.

It is but i tried looking online and a true-to-original Vista theme is really hard to come by.

If you just want the Glass look this should do it for you basically just a little patching proggy i hear it works nicely though.

Of course you won't get any of the fancy Aero/Flip3D action with it.

I downloaded that a while ago and it worked a treat on allowing transparency on maximised windows, but I dont think it creates the glass effect on non aero computers.

I just installed it on my sisters Home Basic machine and it gave her a nice "Glass" look but of course you do need a display adapter (graphics card) that will run it.  I have used the old regedit tweak on other machines to folks that say it does not work well it has for me everytime.  Of course you don't get Flip and whatnot.

Enable Aero Glass

Regedit:
HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Windows/DWM/

Composition = 1
CompositionPolicy = 2

Right click Command Prompt and run as admin:

net stop uxsms
net start uxsms
