| - Vista comes in an unpreceded number of editions. Take care to choose the one that is right for you. For instance, BitLocker drive encryption is available in Vista Enterprise, but not in Business.
- Administrators mostly run as normal users. Privilege elevation occurs only when necessary.
- Users can do more than they could in XP. Examples: change time zone, tune power management settings, and install critical Windows updates.
- The TCP/IP stack includes native IPv6 support.
- Event Viewer can be configured to alert an administrator e.g. by mail in response to selected events.
- The network access protection (NAP) feature can isolate “unhealthy”, such as unpatched, clients until they have been brought into appropriate trim.

| | ................and several new diagnostic tools (2 of which are always monitoring) which make any problems caused by miscreant software easy to repair, usually seamlessly so you wouldn't even know there had been a problem, to all those 'nay sayers' who reckon there's no point upgrading, just look under the hood there is big difference between Vista and any previous version of Windows. Why are we doing this ? has MS not paid up this month...................

| Lots of new diagnostic tools and vista do a good monitoring better than any other MS windows versions.
