I have Windows Vista running on my computer and have a DVI monitor . I would like to recieve HD televsion also. I have a regular cable wire . i know for a fact its not a digital cable. anyway, i am not sure if that makes a difference or if there is a way to get around that. i have a HD TV Tuner in mind, but i really want to know what i need before i proceed. Please help. You got it, check and see what kind of DVI your monitor is there are multiple versions such as analog/digital and HD or not. But other then that just make sure your HD TV tuner has a DVI out and your good to go. Hook them up together.

You can learn about the different kinds of Video Inputs/Outputs like DVI vs. VGA vs. Component here:
