| Hi, i just installed vista, but here is my first problem.  its an onboard soundcard. on the cd of my motherboard are drivers of it, and if I install them, i have still no sound. the drivers are --> SoundMAX ADI1986A Audio Driver <-- so i was looking for vista drivers for this one.. but can't find them.. any1 how to get my sound working? thx alrdy.

| | have u tried using your xp drivers, and if the driver installation fails then run them in the compatibility mode that it suggests to you, that worked for me |

| Not having the CD, I have to guess ... but given that ASUS only started supporting Vista with the P5 versions, and not even all of them, if you have a CD from a P4 version, it most probably does NOT have Vista drivers on it.
ASUS A832nSLI-Deluxe, AMD 64X2 4400 OC 2.4GHz, 2GB OCZ,
Running: Windows 7, Vista 32-bit, Ubuntu 9.04
