I am using windows vista - business on Sont Vaio laptop. I tried to enable
the telnet client on "Turn windows features on/off". every time i tick it, it
takes time, then vanish and nothing hapens. whan i open it again i find that
the tick is not there. I am the only user of this machine so there si no
administrator lock on. jow can i sort this problem out? I also face the same
problem if i go to enable the games.

I am not sure this is the same issue, but Microsoft may help a hotfix. Check
this post.
