I've had my computer for about a year and the other day the Icon in the
system tray (by the clock) that shows my wireless strength disappeared (the
one with the computer with a globe if you're connected and a red 'x' if you
are not). I've found how to enable and disable all icons execpt that one.
Any help?

You could try changing the icon in customise on the network page. Then see
if you are offered the original back. The icon may have been damaged and
you may be able to get it back with prior versions in the location or thru
system restore.
