| | Hello everyone ... I'm having a hard time getting Counter-strike 1.6 to run with my VISTA RTM ... I'm running a radeon X500 with ATI vista drivers and still no luck. Everytime I set my Counter-strike graphics to OpenGL it says that it's not able to do it and therefore will run it in SOFTWARE mode. Any advice ? Thanks! |

| I have the same problem. I have just recieved the release of the bussiness edition of vista. I am running an ATI radeon x800 pro and i cant get cs 1.6 to function in opengl mode.
Anybody with an answer??? I'm really desperate... |

| OpenGL games won't work on vista until driver support gets there. Refer to this thread:

Does anybody know when the drivers are finished. I cant seem to find any information on ATI's hp. |

| | There are new drivers on nVIDIA with Contol Panel and u can use your OpenGL on CS 1.6 i have problems that i always get "Invalid CD Key" when i try to log on server.. Friend told me i have to find CD Key that is comptable with Win Vista .. Non-Steam install is btw.. if someone can help me please !! =( I dont know what to do. |
