I recently sent a query to MS support about Windows 7 deployment issues -
and have had three emails in response ... and more!

I have to say the first two emails were from people who didn't seem to have
even read my query, and I was just starting to mutter and moan to myself,
when a third email came, unprompted, that gave a full and detailed
answer...but JUST missed a crucial bit of info.

BUT BUT BUT on the same day (today) I had a PHONE CALL from them and I was
able to actually talk to someone who understood what I was asking and gave a
definitive answer! They also said that if I tried the solution and it wasn't
working, I could contact them and let them know when it would be convenient
for them to call me back!!!

That is what I call customer service.

Not bad when you consider the millions of customers they have...

I've always had courteous service from Microsoft. I have contacted them a
number of times with development issues and each time it was a pleasure
dealing with them. I even get follow up phone calls.

KUDOS to Microsoft.

Your development issues are that you never became more mature than 12
years old and Microsoft can't do anything to help you.

There you go lying again as usual. That is all you do here. The
development issues are "software development" issues you PUTZ.

Not true.

Not true.

Which are obviously not the development issues I was referring to.

You always twist words around to fit your agenda. Typical for an Ubuntu
nutcase in the Vista forum. You are not credible here.

Don't think so. You can't translate anything. I repeat: You have no
credibility here. Ask anyone.

If you wish they can visit you in house with flowrs, candies & gifts.
This happened to me.

Once I asked Microsoft why Vista WinExplorer, unlike good old WinXP, doesn't
remember appearance/behavior settings. Instead it chooses own retarded ones
targeting kids, home users and others who think computers were invented for
taking lame pictures, listening to primitive music, and searching for **orn.
For professionals & serious people this WIn Explorer is a pain, versus older
WindowsXP

OK.
They repsonded with 6 emails.
2 phone calls
Despatched emergency aid and fixed my Explorer by giving away a free
Windows7 Ultimate.
Now that's Ultimate Customer Service!
They even warned to ship a gift of fine oils & bread for Holiday season.
And this is a true story.

Do you like fishing?
